What You'll Do:As a Meat Assistant Manager at Festival Foods, you will: Support the Meat Department Manager: lead daily operations in their absence and step in as needed. Create a positive work environment by training, mentoring, and developing associates. Grow the team: collaborate with the Meat Department Manager to write and conduct performance reviews, and conduct corrective action as appropriate. Keep our meat department running smoothly: lead by example, maintain proper stock levels, and ensure accurate pricing and merchandising. Ensure guests receive outstanding customer service - help them find what they need, provide expert advice on meat selection and preparation, and resolve any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace in compliance with company standards. Monitor sales and inventory to maximize department profitability.
