Location: Naval Support Facility, Arlington, VA Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field Preferred: Master's Degree in any field
- ≥ 3 years of relevant investigation experience
Preferred Skills/ Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience conducting law enforcement and/or Federal background investigations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe
- ≥ 5 years' experience working in Federal Law Enforcement
- ≥ 10 years working DOD Human Resources or Manpower experience
Tasks:
- Develop and maintain a web-based PASR online questionnaire and will maintain a secure electronic archive for forms and reports.
- Conduct triennial a periodic reinvestigation for Marine Corps Civilians, at a rate of up to 400 personnel per year.
- Develop a phased plan to institute periodic reinvestigations. The Periodic Reinvestigation will include a criminal records check in one or more federal databases. In the event derogatory information is discovered, a written report will be submitted to the appropriate Government representatives. Each derogatory information report will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness by a PASR senior representative.
