How you will contribute Alvarez & Marsal's Corporate Performance Improvement is seeking dynamic and motivated candidates graduating with a Master of Business Administration to join our Corporate Performance Improvement (CPI) practice as 2026 Summer Interns. As part of A&M CPI, you will assist clients with their most pressing operational and strategic issues. In these roles, you will serve as integral members of our project teams, working closely with senior clients and firm leadership from day one. We partner with our clients to identify opportunities, enhance efficiency and maintain competitive advantage through corporate transformation, finance and accounting, digital and technology, human resources, talent management and supply chain services. Start Season & Year: Summer 2026 Earliest Graduation Date: December 2026 Latest Graduation Date: June 2027 Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify opportunities and provide fact-based recommendations to clients.
  • Develop innovative approaches and perspectives to solve complex business problems.
  • Regularly interact with client leadership with confidence and professionalism.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage both A&M and client resources effectively.
  • Contribute to business development by expanding your professional network.
  • Support the development and growth of A&M's practice areas.
Qualifications:
  • MBA with a minimum 3.2 GPA (both major and overall), graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain, or Statistics/Mathematics preferred.
  • 3-5 years of prior business experience, with a preference for those with exposure to consulting or corporate roles with a financial and operational focus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven teamwork and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future. A&M will not sponsor applicants for US work visa status for this role.
