This position begins as an hourly position with the potential to move to salary for the right candidate. Mathnasium Of Eden Prairie is now accepting resumes and scheduling interviews for Math Instructor Assistant Center Director position. Mathnasium is an after-school and weekend math learning center where students go year-round to boost their math skills. We are highly specialized; we teach only math and our program is for students from 2nd to 12th grade. One-on-one teaching in a group environment. Our goal is to significantly increase a child's math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject.

The Math Instructor Assistant Center Director is responsible for the successful operation and growth of the center. This includes:

• Creating a welcoming safe, successful and fun learning experience for K-12th grade students.
• Sharing the benefits of Mathnasium with prospective families and enrolling them in appropriate programs that deliver outstanding results for their family.
• Communicating with parents about their goals for their students, their students' progress toward those goals, and helping them manage their enrollments accordingly.
• Promoting the business by preparing and delivering a variety of marketing efforts as well as by arranging and participating in events in the Mathnasium Center, at schools and at other community venues.
• Achieving business goals for student performance improvement and retention, lead conversion and customer service, enrollment and revenue growth, and instruction quality and capacity.
• Tutor students as needed in math subjects up to Algebra; additional pay if you are able to teach up to Pre-Calculus.
• Learn and utilize the Mathnasium Method to work with students to strengthen their math skills.

Successful Math Instructor Assistant Center Director expected to be friendly, confident, flexible, trustworthy, hard-working problem-solvers, and have a sense of humor and professional attitude.

• It is not required that the Center Director possesses a teaching license or certification, but at least an Algebra-level of math proficiency is necessary. Prior leadership or management experience with youth groups or business is desired, but not required.

We require:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a strong math aptitude.
• Previous experience working with children and supervising employees.
• Excellent management skills, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using general office and computer equipment and applications.
• This is a part-time position, starting with a pay range of $18-$25/hour depending on qualification and experience.
