Maternal Child Health Director - AMN Healthcare : Job Details

The Director of Maternal Child Health will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all nursing functions within maternal child services, including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, and Pediatrics.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 50 FTEs.

This leader will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, promote a culture of safety and excellence, and drive continuous performance improvement initiatives within the department.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong clinical foundation and a collaborative leadership style. They must be skilled in mentoring staff, addressing team needs, and engagement.

Exceptional communication and project management abilities are essential. Experience working in union environments and with Magnet Journey or Pathway to Excellence designation is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MSN preferred.
• Active RN license required; ANCC certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years of relevant labor and delivery experience, including director-level leadership, required.

Compensation Range

• The base salary range for this position is $190,000 to $200,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
