Join our team, a leading firm that has just secured a major project for a new LNG facility in Beaumont, TX ! We're seeking both experienced professionals and motivated individuals eager to learn, to help us test soil, asphalt, and concrete.

This two-year project has already begun, and we've established a new office and lab facility in Beaumont to support our team. You'll have access to a fleet vehicle system for all work-related travel, so your personal vehicle won't be needed. For experienced candidates, relocation assistance is available.

• Field & Lab Testing: Assist with and perform sampling and testing of construction materials, including soils, concrete, and asphalt, both in the field and in the laboratory.

• Concrete Observation: Conduct concrete observation and testing in the field.

• Construction Monitoring: Monitor various construction activities as specified by project requirements.

• Team Support: Assist other technicians or professional staff with routine tasks.

• Quality & Safety: Adhere to all quality policies and procedures, and strictly follow safety policies, actively contributing to their improvement.

• High School Diploma or GED: Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift 10 - 60 lbs. and comfortably work outside for extended periods .

• Driving: Possess a valid Driver's License .

• Communication: Capacity to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime .

• Pre-employment Screens: Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical, including a lift test (50 lbs.).

• ACI Certifications:

  • Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I

  • Concrete Strength Testing Technician

• NICET Certifications:

  • Soils

  • Concrete

  • Asphalt

• TXDOT Certifications:

  • Soils

  • Asphalt

  • SB101

  • SB102 (ability to properly sample and test soils and flexible base properties in the field per TXDOT test procedures)
