Alexandria, MN - 3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday , 10:30pm-6:30am This position is responsible for packing, trailer loading, and material handling of aluminum parts, and participating in 5S initiatives. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: - High school diploma or equivalent degree
Experience: - 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to recognize safety concerns
- Knowledgeable in companywide computer systems and programs
- Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated work area
- A highly motivated self-starter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to detect minor defects in the finish of the product
- Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts according to customer specifications
- Ability to properly use appropriate measuring tools
- Knowledge of the age cycle and the effect it has on the material
- Teamwork
- Ability to take part in additional training e. Extrusion 101
