Job Description:

The Materials Planner will play a vital role in supporting production schedules by managing material procurement and inventory. This individual will oversee purchase orders, maintain strong communication with suppliers, and ensure materials are available to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and receipt.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address material flow and resolve disruptions.
• Utilize MRP systems to plan and manage material requirements efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overages.
• Prepare monthly and annual purchasing forecasts for raw and packaging materials.
• Analyze supply plans to reduce excess inventory costs and waste.
• Partner with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes.
• Maintain accurate master data for assigned categories.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-4 years in materials procurement or buying.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with MRP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
