Materials Planner Start: immediately in Pleasant Prairie, WI / United States Permanent position, Full-time

TheMaterials Plannerwill support Production Planning activities by reviewing upcoming production and manufacturing schedules to ensure that the raw materials needed to execute the master production schedule are available. Located on-site at HARIBO's brand new, state-of-the-art gummi candy manufacturing plant, theMaterial Plannerposition will analyze raw material inventory ( food ingredients, packaging materials) availability against raw material inventory needs, in order to ensure the Production Planning schedules stay on target. As aMaterial Planner, this person will work cross-functionally external stakeholders (suppliers) and internal stakeholders, including members of multiple internal teams including Supply Chain, Procurement, Demand Planning, Quality Assurance, Operations Management, and other internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily analysis planning and review of raw inventory needs based on requirements loaded by the Production Planners in the facility Closely coordinates with the Production Planners to ensure we always have the right materials on hand to execute the Production Plan flawlessly
  • Verify production and inventory reporting accuracy, utilizing SAP and Excel spreadsheets.Pull resources from various levels to orchestrate effective resolution of root cause of any issues found
  • Working with Operations to ensure that all raw materials meet our quality guidelines and are stored and handled properly throughout the process to ensure product integrity
  • Proactively work to resolve issues with suppliers with the goal of creating long term partners that will meet and exceed our needs
  • Track trends and analyze issues for root cause escalating to the Procurement Department as necessary
  • Audit of raw material inventory data as compared to packing slips from material receipts Initiate corrective action steps based on issues found looking for long term sustainable solution

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent HSED or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on production inventory planning
  • ERP systems knowledge required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • SAP systems knowledge strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing industry or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills must have the ability to communicate with all levels of the company
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong knowledge in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data to make sound decisions
  • Strong attention to detail and track record of achieving results with accuracy and precision
  • Ability to work independently and with a team

Compensation and BenefitsTarget Hiring Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annuallyThis pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting. Please note, a candidate's offered annual salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the geographical location of the role.In addition to the base salary, HARIBO of America, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package to support the well-being of our associates and their families.
