As a Materials Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the material flow throughout the facility.

What you will do:

• Oversee the inventory management and distribution of materials necessary for our organization's operations.
• Responsible for all shipping, receiving, material storage, and in-plant movement of materials (including supermarkets, Kanban systems, etc.)
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, optimize inventory levels, and maintain accurate records to ensure the smooth flow of materials throughout our organization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine material requirements and specifications.
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms as necessary.
• Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply while minimizing excess and obsolete materials.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely materials delivery to different locations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
• Implement and enforce best practices for receiving, storing, and handling materials.
• Analyze data and generate reports on key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments in material management practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Material Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
