POSITION TITLE : Materials Manager

HOURS / WEEK: 40 hours/week

JOB SITE LOCATION: 12520 WESTPORT ROAD, Louisville, KY 40245

DUTIES : Grupo Antolin Kentucky, Inc. seeks a Materials Manager in LOUISVILLE, KY. This position does not require travel. Job Duties: Ensure full customer satisfaction and on time delivery in a cost-effective manner. Comply with all the requirements of the company's Quality Policy Manual, Procedures, Instructions that apply to this position. Manage internal customer satisfaction. Direct Strategic Materials Management Planning. Manage the establishment, implementation, and effective operation of the Purchasing System by tracking Supplier Quality as per related Policies, Procedures, and Instructions. Supervise optimal coordination of the department's resources, assigned by the company to the Materials Management Department, in order to achieve the goals and responsibilities established for this area. Manage the Materials Department by supervising human resources assigned to the department as well as define clearly job descriptions supported by training plans for all personnel involved in the Material Management function. Responsible for the maintenance of procedures related to Materials Management. Supervise Materials Requirement Planning. Supervise Process and Shipment of Customer Orders for timely delivery to satisfy the Final Customer. Responsible for the part of the Quality Operating System (QOS) related to Materials Management by tracking the key measurable relative to the materials organization in the Quality Operating System (QOS) that will be reviewed with senior management on a routine basis. Build plant logistics budget and follow up on related KPI targets. Meet Logistics targets and follow up on related KPIs (delivery performance, stock accuracy, stock value, transport cost, system usage, head counts, etc.). Propose to the plant management and logistics organization best practices and lessons learnt, ensuring know how on capitalization and implementation. Secure best in class Delivery Performance rates to the different customers. Ensure full physical flow management (reception, storage, line feeding, shipping) to secure continuous supply procurement. Manage Material Planning Team to ensure availability of raw materials/components, respecting stock value targets and launching continuous improvement actions. Direct Customer Demand (EDI) Consistency & Integration. Direct variation analysis and projected stock. Coordinate monthly S&OP Proposal and weekly follow-up. Ensure Finished Goods Stock fit right sizing. Responsible for FG Shipments definition & Transport Scheme update. Responsible for Finished goods packaging tracking (stock level, follow-up). Management of the Logistics shop-floor teams (leaders, material handlers, material planners, etc.). Accountable for full plant inventory accuracy; implement and secure proper Cycle counting process, reception, shipping, escalation of the deviations, etc. Responsible for Receiving Area Management. Responsible for Line Feeding process. Responsible for Shipping Area Management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Materials Manager, Logistics Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Manager, Receiving Manager, or a related occupation. Experience must include: 3 years of experience with SAP. 3 years of experience with Automotive inventory and material planning. 1 year of experience with Management of People in Materials Team. 3 years of experience working in materials management under a Quality Operating System. 3 years of experience working in materials management under a defined Purchasing System. Experience with Excel including pivot tables, vLookups, charts and timeline management.
