By delivering inventory optimization and accuracy, as well as robust configuration management, the Inventory Control & Configuration Planner contributes directly to enhancing the overall customer experience.Core ResponsibilitiesEnsure inventory accuracy across assigned program by implementing inventory controls and replenishment processesDevelop and execute effective cycle count programs to maintain inventory accuracyInvestigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actionsAnalyze inventory data, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend solutions to improve turns, reduce waste, and enhance the customer experiencePartner with engineering teams on configuration management, including maintaining accurate master data, creating and updating bills of materials (BOMs), and managing engineering change ordersCollaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to align on inventory goals and drive initiatives to achieve themDesign and deploy streamlined inventory management workflows, leveraging system automation where possibleCreate and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures for inventory-related activitiesSupport the implementation of inventory management system upgrades and enhancementsContribute to cross-functional projects related to engineering changes, master data management, and supply chain improvementsProvide analytical reports and actionable insights to senior leadershipStory Behind the Need – Business Group & Key ProjectsGroupRobotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations (RMTO) team.The team owns manufacturing planning for Robotics Manufacturing.This entails all of the production scheduling, capacity planning, production control, inventory management, and warehousing operations.This role will specifically support production control which will support the manufacturing floor that builds robotics for their FC network.
