Description of Job The purpose of this work unit is to support the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) by providing warehouse services essential to the operation and management of the school's educational and support programs. This includes the acquisition, receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials in compliance with State of Colorado Procurement Rules, CSDB policies, and State of Colorado Fiscal Rules. The unit ensures that resources are efficiently and effectively managed to meet the needs of students and staff.The FTE for this position has been reduced from 1.0 to 0.50, resulting in a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week yearround. This change reflects an adjustment in operational needs and staffing resources within the work unit.This position is responsible for receiving shipments from vendors and freight carriers, inspecting deliveries for accuracy and damage, and fulfilling internal stockroom requests.
