Summary

The Materials Associate will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Manager, Lab Manager, Pharmacists, and other departments as necessary on timelyreceiving, maintaining documentation, and maintaining stock levels for commercial products, chemicals, and other supplies needed for the pharmacy. This position will also assist with material destruction for the lab and pharmacy. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to receive, stock, and organize incoming materials and distribute to the necessary personnel.

• Assist in managing the material receipt processby verifying documentation and product information, checking for damage or discrepancies, and documenting any observed issues.

• Monitor and managewarehouseorganization and inventory levels in support of activities in the laboratory and pharmacy.

• Maintain appropriate inventory life cycle management by utilizing FEFO/FIFO methodology.

• Utilize inventory management software to coordinate the receipt, release, and labeling of laboratory materials.

• Assistwith bulk chemical, pharmaceutical waste, and hazardous waste destruction activities.

• Assist with inventory cycle counts.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimizes space utilization.

• Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and teammates.

• Participate in special projects as assigned.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required

• 2-5 years of inventory control or warehouse experienceis desired.

• Skill/experience in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.

• Strong time management skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Reporting Structure

This position reports tothe Supply Chain Manger.
