Materials Analyst #25076 - Blue Chip Talent : Job Details

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive organization, is seeking a skilled in Material Planner. This role is responsible for managing pre-series material forecasts, ensuring timely delivery of prototype parts, and coordinating supply chain activities to support development builds.

Job Duties

• Issue and manage demand forecasts for pre-series production materials
• Provide regular status updates on material availability and delivery timelines
• Communicate changes in material demand across the supply chain
• Identify and resolve supply chain constraints and planning issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development build success
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned commodities
• Implement proactive planning solutions to support program success

Skills & Experience

Required

• Experience in material control, inventory control, or logistics within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to analyze and interpret business data to drive planning decisions
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field

Desired

• Automotive production or supply chain experience
• Experience supporting pre-series or development builds
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
