Material Worker - Trainee - PPL Corporation : Job Details

Receives, issues, returns, and maintains materials and material inventory in Regional Service Center storerooms and warehouses. Performs material related activities to fill requisitions for materials and coordinates tools and equipment to support work. This vacancy is based out of PPL's Newport Service Center. THIS IS A UNION POSITION and successful candidates will be members of IBEW Local 1600. Responsibilities Uses software and associated hardware devices provided to effectively perform the Material Worker duties. Receives and stores/stocks, inventories materials, tools and equipment. Issues, picks, packs, and ships materials and stages materials for pick-up. Delivers materials, tools and equipment when requested. Manages M&E (free bin) materials. Returns materials. Perform cycle count and inventory reconciliation activities. Purchase materials and services using Corporate Card as directed.
