Our culture thrives on intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity and bringing your whole self to work.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Northridge, CA is currently seeking a Material Requirements Planning Analyst level 3 or 4 to join the team in supporting various programs (AARGM-ER, SiAW) within the Advanced Weapons Business Unit .This position requires the selected candidate to work on-site in Northridge, CA on a 9/80 schedule. Some relocation assistance, while not guaranteed, may be available.Responsibilities Include:Develop and analyze material requirements; establish and execute prioritiesAnalyze system data to prepare material requirements per scheduleCreate Manufacturing work orders and Purchase requisitionIdentify material shortage requirements and develop solutions to complex problems. Expedite repair and material requirements as neededResolve schedule, material requirement or business system problems with cross-functional representatives as well as master schedules and production problemsCoordinates interdepartmental activity with Mission Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Receiving, Shipping and Inventory ControlReview and track internal status of actions and participate in internal production meetings and communicate status changes to program management, IPTs and stakeholders in a timely mannerCreate material or service requisitions. Responsible to ensure availability of all materials required to support completion of program repairsEnsure timely and accurate material forecasting to support ongoing activityBasic Qualifications Level 3:Must have a High School diploma/GED and 10 years of direct relevant experience in supply chain, material management, production or development environment. 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with MastersExperience should be in a Development, Production, Repair, and/or Depot environmentMust have demonstrated analytical skills required for determining priorities, lead times, and shop floor schedulesHave basic proficiency with MS Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint (i.e. working with tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)Ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret ClearanceBasic Qualifications Level 4:Must have a High School diploma/GED and 14 years of direct relevant experience in supply chain, material management, production or development environment. 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with MastersExperience should be in a Development, Production, Repair, and/or Depot environmentMust have demonstrated analytical skills required for determining priorities, lead times, and shop floor schedulesHave basic proficiency with MS Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint (i.e. working with tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)Preferred Qualifications:CPIM or APICS training.Costpoint ERP experience in an MRP environmentTIPQA experienceLean manufacturing and process improvement experienceProficiency in Microsoft ProjectExperience with Earned Value Management a plusExperience in Development programs a plusInventory experience a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills to clearly express oneself. Have excellent presentation, project and organizational skillsActive Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $80,600 - $121,000Salary Range 2: $100,000 - $150,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
