Material Planner - Sanofi : Job Details

Material Planning & Ordering:Reviews SAP recommendations for Purchase Requisitions, converts them into Purchase Orders, considering factors such as current inventory levels, safety stock policies, material coverage, expiry targets, and supplier agreements. Sends Purchase Orders/ Schedule lines to suppliers and updates supplier confirmation for each Purchase Order (order acknowledge) in the system so reception dates are available for the site logistic operations in the system. Material availability. Closely monitors and assesses the availability of materials. Analyze supply/demand exceptions and adjust purchasing plans accordingly in a timely manner. Collaborate with Site Planners and/or Schedulers to align material availability within proper planning horizons, preventing shortages or excess inventory. Supplier Coordination & Risk Mgmt. Connects with suppliers to monitor the status of the supply plan and to detect exceptions to it as soon as possible to be able to address them.
