Material Handler In-Charge - Montevideo, MN - Xcel Energy : Job Details

Perform the duties of the Material handler In-Charge classification, performing the daily operational activities of the material handling functions at assigned geographic locations. This position requires the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times. Serve as the day-to-day interface with local operational customers. Duties include but not limited to material ordering from suppliers and from other internal storerooms as necessary. Receiving activities which include unload and loading of trucks and receipt of materials both stock and non-stock. Put away activities, order filling, and stage orders for field construction crews. Process material returns/credits from the field. Keep work area and yard cleaned and organized as necessary. Provide excellent customer service for local management and field employees.
