Material Handler- Whitestown Plant - Hershey : Job Details

The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift and other PIT to transport raw materials and finished products throughout the plant, while ensuring accurate inventory records of all moves in compliance with FEFO. Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the plant. Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items and works with other team members to ensure team moves materials in FEFO order, onto and off trucks, ready for shipments, loads and unloads docks and moves product into staging areas. Load and unload trucks using a forklift. Keep accurate inventory records and update the computer system with all material movement. Properly tagging of all finished goods as they are produced and moving to the Warehouse staging areas. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to the maintenance team.
