Material Handler/Tank Washer - $1500 Sign On Bonus - Warehouse Services : Job Details

Warehouse Services, Inc is currently seeking a full time Material Handlers/Tank Washer to work at its distribution center in Selkirk, NY.STARTING Pay: $21.50/hr with a $1500 sign on bonus and earn 40 hours of Vacation after 90 days! DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Under appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, including material receipt, inspections, storage and shipping. Also includes implementing, coordinating and assisting in the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out a sequence of related warehousing functions and responsibilities. Duties require manual, clerical and data entry skills.Wash interior of bulk tanks and trailers using high-pressure hoses, cleaning solutions, and automated systems.Inspect tanks and equipment for cleanliness, damage, or contamination before and after cleaning.Operate cleaning and sanitation equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines.Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals safely.Maintain accurate cleaning logs and inspection records for compliance and traceability.Communicate any mechanical issues or damage to maintenance or supervisory staff.Assist with cleaning of wash bay, floors, hoses, and surrounding areas to maintain sanitary working conditions.Wear appropriate PPE and follow company safety policies at all times.Support additional operations and warehouse duties as needed.Operating material handling equipment as required.
