Material Handler
This position will handle all incoming and outgoing materials used in CNC machines to produce various parts for computer servers.
Essential Functions:
- Perform visual inspection of machined parts
- Package and route the machine parts, including entering transactions in the software system
- Inspect raw materials for damage and correct quantities
- Enter receipt into software system
- Cycle count the raw material inventory
- Assist with tooling storage and kitting
- Communicate with Stockroom team members to assist with smooth flow of product
- Load and unload part tumblers
- Clean and maintain area and parts to keep in optimal production condition
- Must be able to operate fork truck
- Perform saw cutting as needed
- Conforms with ESD policy and safety practices
- Follows all safety regulations and practices safety awareness at all times
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in a metalworking manufacturing environment or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to operate industrial equipment
- Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50-lb. twelve-foot-long aluminum bar stock
- Ability to stand for long periods up-to-eight or more hours at a time
- Must be able to reach above head to remove stock
- Proven ability to have a high level of attention to detail
Required Qualification:
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a protected person )
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Occasional exposure to manufacturing floor and testing environments. May require lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods during product testing.
