Material Handler (Starting 9/22 ) - Aerotek : Job Details

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Technician who is confident and capable in the installation of materials and skilled in the use of power tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality mechanical work.

• Install mechanical components, systems, and materials according to specifications and blueprints
• Operate a variety of power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Assist with assembly, fabrication, and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to complete projects on time
• Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet required standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise

• Previous experience in mechanical installation or a related field preferred
• Comfortable using power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, impact wrenches)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus

You will be working inside an Amazon facility, a large warehouse with many moving parts. Collaborate with PAC Advisors and Aerotek Services. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional shifts on Saturdays, ranging from 8 to 10 hours per day.

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Liverpool, NY.
