About the job Material Handler/Shipping & Receiving - 1st Shift ASAP START - 1 YEAR CONTRACT ROLE WITH POTENTIAL EXTENSION/CONVERSION TO FTE1ST SHIFT: 7:00AM START M-F W/SOME WEEKENDS AS NEEDEDOVERVIEW: A Shipping & Receiving coordinator will be responsible for all logistics in the company. They will manage all inbound and outbound shipments in coordination with purchasing, project teams and management,ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & SKILLS:Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to all of the following:Load and unload small packagesForklift operationShipment documentation and Creation.Package shipmentsDeburr and handle small metal partsMust be USC/Green CardNo travel requiredLift 40lbs, comfortable driving a fork truck, will be trainedPreferred: Shipping/Receiving experienceEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or equivalent is required.US Citizen or Green Card required.DESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Ability to work with minimal oversitePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand most of the day while working 40 hour work week (Day shift) with overtime paid as workedEXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:Day Shift 7 am work start time M-FMust be flexible with schedule to accommodate fixed deadlines sometimes working Saturday and or SundayPackage Details Shift Times:Flexible shift times between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
