Position Summary: The Warehouse Material Handleris a crucial role within our operations team, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of our facilities. This individual will use various equipment to handle, organize, and manage inventory, ensuring that materials are available for use in construction projects when needed. The role demands attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Material Handling & Delivery Retrieve, organize, and load materials, tools, and equipment for delivery to job sites. Deliver items promptly to job sites, ensuring accurate documentation of deliveries. Confirm delivery requirements with the Procurement Manager and site foremen. Warehouse Support Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. Stock shelves and organize inventory as directed by the Procurement Manager. Perform inventory checks and report shortages or discrepancies. Tool Audits & Maintenance Conduct monthly audits of all tools and equipment to verify their location, condition, and documentation. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment. Report damaged or malfunctioning tools to the Procurement Manager. Administrative Duties Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and related paperwork. Communicate effectively with site teams, project managers, and the warehouse team regarding delivery updates. Safety & Compliance Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all traffic laws and USC Builds policies. Follow USC Builds safety protocols for warehouse and job site operations. Participate in regular safety training sessions. Qualifications: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to coordinate with various teams. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently. Familiarity with tools and construction materials is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or construction environments preferred.
