Material Handler / Receiver - Tucker Door and Trim : Job Details

Tucker Door & Trim is a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork to the construction industry. We are growing and want you to be part of our team. Our employees build complete door or window packages. We have an immediate opening for a Material Handler / Loader - Pm shift. SUMMARY: Operation of forklift to move product in/out of trailers and around dock area. Perform various material handling duties. Forklift experience preferred. Will train the right candidate.

Physical Requirements: This position requires sitting, standing, entering and exiting forklift continuously for long periods of time. Candidate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Essential Job Requirements & Duties (including but not limited to):

• Experienced required but will train and certify per OSHA requirements.
• Ability to maintain safe and clean forklift by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations which include OSHA checklist sheet completed at the beginning of each shift.
• Ability to perform required tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow all OSHA guidelines and requirements for safe operation of forklift.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ability to read labels, paperwork and tape measure.
• Be knowledgeable of the various products we offer and their general location in warehouse.
• Ability to load, unload inbound and outbound freight as needed.
• Assist in transferring special order's to shipping dock as needed, to insure a timely delivery to our customer.
• Ability to move non-stock items to bulk area and replenish stock in racks as needed.
• Ability to assist with inventories and daily cycle counts as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, efficient and safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as needed or required by company
