Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $24.85 an hour

You will work with Conagra Brands Birds Eye in Dairen WI. You will be reporting to the team lead on your line. This is a 12 hour Rotating job. You will help the processing side of the frozen meals and frozen vegetables to bring materials to the line and to take the finish product to the freezer. This is an onsite job.

You Will:
  • Organize ingredients and supplies required for production. Review current ingredient, liners and other supplies and apprises supervisor of potential shortages or damages.
  • Inspects staged return ingredients for proper labeling, weight remaining on SAP labels, allergen tagging and closed for storage expectations. Correct any issues found and report to supervisor.
  • Returns ingredients and supplies required for production lines to storage off the line in correct location such as bulk dock and dry ingredient warehouse and in correct rack row based on ingredient type in these areas
  • Place work in process kits (WIP kits) or supplies in area for cooking and scan or move materials per SAP policy as needed.
  • Inspect, close and labels staged totes to prepare for freezer storage or other designated storage as needed by storage policy. Ensure accurate accounting of these materials before moved to next location.
  • Remove product from tote filling stations to designated tote close station areas.
  • Deliver product in totes from processing lines to freezer following forklift standards and records transfer effectively in SAP to show movement.
  • Operate a forklift with several attachments to lift, transport, and arrange materials to training standards.
  • Deliver and returns packaging supplies to and from the production room and documents amounts.
  • Deliver and returns materials for tote rebuild for processing production lines. Notifies supervisor when pallet trailers are close to empty, core pallets are running low, re-used totes are low stock and new totes being pulled for use.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area by periodic inspections of such.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management.
You Have:
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must know addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Can use a calculator.
  • Take into account timing of deliveries and varying rates of use.
  • Can operate a forklift SAFELY to load/unload trucks, transfer materials and stack materials.
  • Forklift experience is not required but would like to see Forklift experience.
  • Must be physically able to work in cold conditions and/or humid conditions for duration of 12 hour shift
  • Must be physically able to perform all responsibilities including but not limited to lifting, moving materials, transferring items from pallet to pallet.
  • Must be able to work independently
