Material Handler/Picker - Progress Rail Services Corporation : Job Details

The Material Handler will support production and/or shipping of the facility. - Operate Powered Industrial Truck (forklift), pallet jack, skid steer and/or overhead cranes to perform material handling duties; - Sort and process recycling materials using hand tools and machines; - Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels; - Examine and inspect containers, materials or products to ensure that product quality and packing specifications are met; - Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport; - Follow verbal or written work instructions, standards and or QWIs consistently, accurately, and safely.
