Job StatementThe Material Handler will be responsible for the setup of mill fixtures onNumerically Controlled Milling Machines. Working closely with MachineOperators and Manufacturing support personnel they will properly affix, align and otherwise load mill fixtures onto machine tables.They will additionally be responsible for loading material, forgings, and partially machined work pieces onto these mill fixtures in accordance with setup instructions.Essential FunctionsThe following is a list of duties, tasks, work activities and/or functions the:Material Handler will/may be required to perform:Prepare machine tables for the placement of mill fixturesPrepare mill fixtures for placement onto prepared machine tablesPerform minor maintenance to mill fixtures (apply oil as preservative, repair threads using thread die, stone scarred surfaces, etc.Operate overhead cranesSelect and use the appropriate slings or other lifting devices (shackles, eye bolts, etc.) for use when applying mill fixtures or parts to machine tablesOperate milling machines when necessary to support setup functionsSelect and apply appropriate clamps, bolts, vacuum supplying pumps, etc.Remove and replace parts from mill fixturesRemove and replace mill fixturesPerform other reasonable tasks, projects or duties as they are assigned bysupervision.SpecificationsThe following is a list of skills, abilities, training, education, experience, values, interests and /or talentThe Material Handler will be expected to posses and demonstrate:A minimum of 2-years of related machine shop experienceMust have forklift experienceMust be familiar with all tools used in the mill fixture setup process (indicators, micrometers, calipers, pins, clamps, slings, overhead cranes, forklifts, deburring tools, cutters, grinders, etc. and be able to use them to perform the duties outlined in the Essential Functions section of this Job DescriptionMust be able to read setup instructions written in EnglishMust be able to stoop, kneel, climb, bend, and otherwise physically perform the duties outlined in the Essential Functions section of this Job DescriptionMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide manually or with the use of a calculator (basic shop math)Must be able to lift a 30 lb. object and carry that object 20 ft./*generated inline style */ All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /*generated inline style */ For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18.50 to $23.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter .
