Material Handler, Mon-Fri, 10PM-6AM - Avery Dennison Corporation : Job Details

The material handler is responsible for the movement of material throughout the site. This may include loading / unloading of trailers and movement of raw materials, work in process (WIP) and finished goods. Activities and duties may vary, dependent upon site-specific needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:Move material to / from raw, WIP, Finishing, Shipping, Receiving and manufacturing areas. Unload / load trucks / tankers with incoming / outgoing materials. Verify materials against Receiving / Shipping documents. Complete appropriate transactions to document the movement of material within the Inventory Management System. Support inventory accuracy: Complete warehouse and departmental cycle counts and correct discrepancies. Help manage winding drum and rack inventories. Raw / Finishing warehouse: Pick up and transfer material racks, pallets and other consumable supplies to / from production areas, as required.
