Material Handler / Loader - Randstad : Job Details

In this essential role, you'll ensure that materials, products, and equipment are moved safely and effectively within our facility.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a physically demanding environment, demonstrating strength and attention to detail to manage inventory accurately while adhering to safety protocols.

Salary: $17.99 - $18 per hour Shift: First Work Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Education: High School

Key Responsibilities:

• Move, load, and unload materials (e.g., large furniture) manually or with equipment such as dollies and carts.
• Consistently lift and carry heavy items (up to 50-75 lbs).
• Organize and stage materials for events or meetings.
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate movement records.
• Utilize hand tools for opening crates, securing loads, and performing minor assembly tasks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies in quality or quantity.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors for smooth workflow.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures diligently.

Essential Functions:

• Work in a smoke-free environment.
• Wear steel toe shoes.
• Engage in manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 8 hours at a time.
• Be available to work up to 8 hours of overtime per week.

Qualifications:

• Experience Level: Experienced (1 year preferred)
