Material Handler Level 1 (1st shift) - Precision Castparts Corporation : Job Details

Drives gasoline, electric or propane powered industrial truck or manipulator equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, jaws or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties in assigned department. Reporting Relationships:The Material Handler will report to various departments, including but not limited to, Maintenance/ Warehouse/ Forge/ Conditioning/ Saws/ Machine Shop/ Quality Control/ Prod. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, and transports load to designated area. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
