Senior Material Handler
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our operations running smoothly by handling materials, assisting with shipping and receiving, and ensuring equipment is properly staged, washed, and prepped. You'll learn a variety of mechanical and logistical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks
Wash and prepare equipment
Stage equipment as needed for future shipments
Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including paperwork and quality checks
Maintain accurate documentation and complete paperwork related to incoming and outgoing shipments
Ensure safe, organized, and efficient operations
Learn and perform various mechanical and general labor tasks to support yard operations
Collaborate with team members to fulfill operational needs
Qualifications:
Some experience in, shipping/receiving.
CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus but not required
Willingness to learn; mechanical aptitude a bonus
Forklift or heavy machinery experience preferred
Detail-oriented, especially with paperwork and quality checks
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
SALARY :
The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00/Hr. to $26.00/Hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
