Material Handler - Washington Staffing : Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Material Handler to work in shipping and receiving for a leading manufacturer in Spokane Valley, WA. Compensation for the Material Handler: $19 per hour, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Excellent benefits available upon hire including medical, dental, vision, retirement, sick pay, life insurance, PTO, and more!

• Use a bill of material (BOM) to prepare necessary parts and bring them to the production floor
• Accurately assist with inventory
• Manage incoming materials which consist of bulk product
• Ensure materials are stored properly in correct areas
• Prep packages for shipping which includes stacking on a pallet and wrapping them
• Assist with shoveling snow from the sidewalks
• Cross train in other departments as needed

• Experience in shipping receiving/material handling/inventory
• Forklift
• Reliable, punctual, driven, good attendance, and able to work independently
• Able to work in small teams
• Strong basic computer skills
• Solid basic math and counting skills
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally, buddy lift anything over 50 lbs.; able to work in a warehouse setting
