Material Handler - Cambria : Job Details

Job Description:Material Handler is responsible for various tasks within a warehouse environment while maintaining safety standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Move raw materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using a forkliftClean, organize and maintain overall appearance of the work areaFollow proper maintenance procedures for the forkliftPrepare materials for processingPerform job duties safely as outlined in the Crushing Site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Additional duties as assigned by managementMinimum Qualifications:Ability to become certified in forklift operationAbility to use hand and power tools safelyAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationEducation: N/AExperience: N/ASystems: N/APreferred Qualifications:Forklift experienceBasic math skillsMechanically inclinedIndustrial work experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDCambria Success Factors:High attention to detailReliable and punctualDirect communicationSense of urgency in completing workCapable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivatedPhysical Requirements:Participate in daily stretch and flex exercisesPush/pull loads with a pallet jackLift up to 50 lbs.Push/pull 100 lbs.Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaWork in a non-climate controlled environmentClimb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shiftBend over multiple times throughout shiftTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:Steel toed bootsHearing protectionCut resistant glovesSafety glassesRespiratorHigh visibility vestHard hatCambria's starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
