Material Handler - Saur Americas : Job Details

The Material Handler at Aqua-Chem will be working primarily in a manufacturing setting with the roles of material handling, use of company ERP system, and the transfer and staging of materials. A successful candidate will work under the direction of the Manufacturing Operations Manager facilitating flow of parts and product.Schedule: (1st Shift) Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (OT may be required on Friday's 6:00am - 2:30pm)Location: Onsite; Knoxville, TNPay Range: $17.00 - $22.00/hr, Dependent on ExperienceBenefits: Group Medical, Dental Vision, 401(k) Match, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Sick Time. +Employer Paid Benefits: STD, LTD, Life AD&DEssential Duties:Perform rigging, lifting and moving of product using cranes, forklifts, metal carts etc.Transfer / stage materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flowOperate manufacturing equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaceOther duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.Education/Experience:High School Diploma/GED requiredAt least 1 year in a manufacturing environmentAt least 1 year forkliftOverhead crane experience is a plusRequirements:Must be a U.S. CitizenPhysical Skill and Effort: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surfaces and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and climb stairsWill require working in areas up to 15 feet from the ground.Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding to the outside ambient temperaturesAble to work overtime as required*This description indicates the general nature of the tasks and responsibilities required of positions given this classification.
