Job Position: Material HandlerLocation: Justin, TXPay Rate: $16.50Shift: 2 shifts available 6am to 2:30pm & 9am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri + OT & weekends if needed.Description:Stride Staffing has partnered with a telecommunications provider in Justin, TX. We are hiring and looking to fill a Material Handler position. Employees are responsible for performing various tasks within a warehouse or distribution center, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse processes. All candidates are required to take a drug test at a lab and able to pass a criminal background check. Please be sure you meet the requirements within the job description. *This is a resume based position please attach it when applying*.Criminal background check and a drug screening at a clinic are requiredJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Read and process orders in timely mannerUse RF ScannerAttention to detailBe able to lift up to 50-70lbs on a continuous basisAble to Multi-task & Cross Train as neededBe able to stand for 8+ hoursPicking and Packing: Accurately pick products from inventory based on customer orders and pack them securely for shipment. Ensure that all packing slips and labels are correct.Shipping: Prepare and process shipments according to company standards, ensuring timely delivery to customers.Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to management. Maintain the quality of products stored in the warehouse.Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to achieve daily and weekly goals, ensuring timely processing of orders and inventory management.QUALIFICATIONS:Native to the Justin/ Roanoke area is a HUGE plus.Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plusBasic math skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.Ability to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.Pass a criminal background check, drug test and E-VerifyHave reliable transportationAble to work in non-climate controlled environmentForklift experience is a HUGE plus.Interview Hours:We conduct open interviews from the hours of 8:30am -10:30am Monday - Friday.
