Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJob Title: Material HandlerOur company is seeking a Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in material handling and operating a forklift. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouse and working in the manufacturing facility to supply needed materials.Responsibilities:- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse and to the manufacturing facility as needed.- Load and unload trucks and containers- Receive and process incoming materials- Pick and pack orders for shipment- Maintain accurate inventory records- Perform cycle counts- Keep the warehouse clean and organized- Set-Up / Operate Stock Cutting Machines- Ensure Point of Use racks are stocked appropriately- Fulfill production requirements- May cover shipping and receiving duties as needed.- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines- Regular and reliable attendanceRequirementsRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum of 1 year of experience in material handling and forklift operation- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Good communication and teamwork skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as neededIf you are a reliable and hardworking individual with experience in material handling and forklift operation, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
