Job Summary: The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process and handle materials for fabrication department
• Work with fabrication team to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Use WMS system with bar-code scanners to accurately reconcile inventory
• Support fabrication processes by sourcing tooling and axillary items in shop
• Stack and band materials by manual lifting and cranes
• Transport materials to and from yard and warehouse using forklifts
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping
• Return necessary product to stock; finished goods, leftover materials, excess materials, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good math and written communication skills.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Forklift experience. Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred. Physical Requirements:
      • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
