Insight Global is looking to hire a Material Handler I to join a BioServices team at its Rockville, MD site for a life sciences customer. This position supports the secure handling and movement of biological specimens, clinical agents, and sensitive materials for a range of commercial and federal clients. The role involves maintaining precise inventory records and facilitating shipments, often of potentially hazardous items, across various temperature conditionsincluding ultra-low environments down to -196°C. Daily responsibilities include managing outbound shipments, coordinating site-wide material transfers, and executing inventory adjustments and cycle counts. Required Skills & Experience- 1+ year of Distribution, Warehouse or Supply Chain experience- Experience with warehouse equipment:o I.e. pallet jack, dry ice carts, scanners, basic computer knowledge- Experience in a GMP/GDP environment (pharma or biological)o Goods manufacturing practices, system ensuring pharmaceutical products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standardso Goods distribution practices, the minimum standards for the storage, handling, and transportation of medicines to ensure their quality and integrity throughout the supply chain- Highschool Diploma Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
