Material Handler - Massachusetts Staffing : Job Details

Chicopee Manufacturing company currently seeking a 3rd shift material handler! Candidate must have previous experience in a warehouse and manufacturing setting. Full time, temp-hire opportunity! Must be able to train on 1st shift for 90 days. Duties include: safely and efficiently handling materials using various equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate materials. Follow established procedures for receiving, storing, and distributing materials throughout manufacturing floor. Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and OSHA guidelines. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet production goals. Qualifications: previous experience in materials handling or a similar role preferred. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers is a plus. Proficient in using warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to material handling. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Schedule: 3rd shift: Duration: temp-hire Pay: $21.72/hr.
