Material Handler - Steris : Job Details

Supply production with all necessary packaging, production supplies and raw materials to complete work orders as assigned by planners. Responsible for feed sources and correct set up for each extrusion machines. Maintain the warehouse locations to ensure physical inventory is accurate.

• Maintain accuracy of work in process and warehouse material inventory.
• Move materials from stock (warehouse) to point of use.
• Verify that the proper material, dryer setups (if applicable) and feed sources are correct for each work center.
• Cycle counting on weekly basis.
• Perform Line clearance/ clean dryers and hoppers.
• Verification of feed source setup are in good condition.
• Verification of resin/materials are correct per W/O.
• Cleaning and work in 6S tasks(organize, clean area)
• Communicate scrap and/or shortages of material to the appropriate person.
• Timely return of materials back to stock.

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay range for this opportunity is $17.16 - $22.21. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
