General Responsibilities Responsible for transporting raw materials (rolls), work in process(WIP) and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production, load and unload rolls from transport trucks Operate a pallet jack/hand truck about 80% of the time as you move work in progress loads from one department to another Move and stage finished loads from sheeting to their space in the plant Work with Printing on schedule and prepare loads for them to run Will sometimes load a stack of paper into aerator to prep for the printing presses Move and stage finished loads from printing to their space in the plant This role will drive a forktruck sometimes to move some product Provide a clean/safe working environment to themselves and employees in their work area. Keep department in specs within all 5S requirements. Other duties as assigned What you need to succeed: Ability to read general information or short instructions such as lists, notes, or labels Ability to write in order to accomplish such tasks as completing forms or communicating simple instructions Ability to perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Ability to carry out tasks which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order Ability to complete tasks as assigned by others with occasional directions Ability to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures following established patterns Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
