Material Handler - AtWork Group : Job Details

Our client is one of the world's leading passenger, crew, and helicopter seating suppliers. In this position, you will be responsible for the assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping of merchandise or material.ResponsibilitiesVerify, withdraw, and deliver materials to the production line on time to support the production schedule board.Ensure that materials are FIFO and track exposure units on temperature-sensitive materials.Must be able to ensure accurate inventory for the department.Perform cycle counting of highly used materials.Other duties include receiving and storing production materials, palletizing materials or products, etc.Handle the disposal of hazardous waste materials for the department.Forklift operation is required (training provided).Skills2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.Safely and effectively operate a forklift (training provided).Lift 50 + pounds frequently throughout the shift.Prior inventory control experience is a plus.Good basic math skills.Good reading comprehension to follow work orders.Able to speak/read/write English proficiently.
