Material Handler - Adecco : Job Details

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our client's team in Fairport! In this hands-on role, you'll support the manufacturing process by managing material flow, packaging components, and maintaining accurate inventory records.Shift: Monday - Friday day shift | OT as neededPay Rate: $21/hrKey Responsibilities:Receive, sort, and allocate materials for use in production cells.Place materials in designated cell locations and work with team members to optimize part presentation.Process Kanban cards accurately by pulling, logging, and scanning for replenishment.Collaborate with buyers, inventory control, and production staff to resolve inventory discrepancies.Initiate inventory adjustments or request fabricated work orders/purchase orders to maintain material availability.Package components and kit parts according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and packing procedures.Review and manage aged inventory; identify, investigate, and properly dispose of non-moving or excess items.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Previous experience as a material handler in a manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail with consistent quality of work.Comfortable lifting 20-35 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally.Ability to bend, stand, and move for extended periods.Computer proficiency, including ERP systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Apply today for immediate consideration!Pay Details: $21.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
