We are seeking a Material Handler to join our Automotive Electronic Products (AEP) team in our Logansport, Indiana location. Stockroom employees must have basic math skills, the ability to perform clerical duties and key-in transactions on a computer. You may be required to use reel counters, weigh machines, pallet jacks, and operate a fork truck. The stockroom can be physically demanding and may require workers to sit, stoop, stand, bend, kneel, as well as lift up to 50 pounds. Major responsibilities:
- Perform stockroom clerical duties.
- Answer the window when authorized personnel request product.
- Understands that nothing comes in and nothing goes out without a transition No Action without a Transaction .
- Return to Stock (RTS) parts, physically inspects parts for damages, counts, weighs and verifies parts against the AVL prior to returning inventory to stock.
- Kits product to a pick list or inspects/audits kits ready for the production floor.
- Scans all pick lists to internal files and updates stockroom records by following corporate procedures.
- Cleans and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and organize stockroom material.
- Focus on Product quality, standards, and continuous improvement.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proof of experience
