Material Handler - Magna International : Job Details

OF RESPONSIBILITY - The Material Handler is responsible for keeping materials and supplies flowing smoothly through the production area. This includes moving raw materials and finished goods to the right locations, using scanning devices to track inventory, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. The role supports production by maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing storage areas, and helping with continuous improvement and safety practices. Required Skills & Qualifications:Move materials in and out of storage locations. Follow first-in, first-out (FIFO) procedures for issuing materials. Use radio frequency (RF) scanners to track inventory and process transactions. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Support production flow by delivering materials on time. Verify, count, label, and stack materials correctly. Take breaks as needed to meet material demands of production. Flex schedule (start/end times) to support shift change needs.
