Job Title: Material Handler - 1st & 2nd ShiftLocation: Glastonbury, CTJob Type: Full-TimeMaterial Handler Shifts & Pay:1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM | Pay: $16.35/hr2nd Shift: 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM | Pay: $17.18/hrOvertime available; bonus rates apply.Material Handler Overview:We are hiring reliable and hardworking Material Handlers / General Laborers to support our operations in the production and assembly of highway guardrails, signposts, and traffic light supports. This is a physical, hands-on role that requires attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors, and a commitment to safety.Material Handler Key Responsibilities:Assist with assembly and fabrication of metal productsFollow verbal instructions and work efficiently as part of a teamUse hand tools and measuring devices (reading a ruler is a plus)Lift and move materials up to 50 lbsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaWork outdoors in various weather conditionsMaterial Handler Requirements:Ability to perform manual labor (lifting, bending, climbing, standing)Steel-toed boots required (other PPE provided)Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.Must pass a drug test and background checkMaterial Handler Preferred Skills (Not Required):Forklift operationWelding experienceAbility to read a tape measure to 1/16 Basic math skillsBilingual (English/Spanish)Why Join Us?Opportunity for full-time hire after 520 hoursOn-the-job training and growth potentialCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.35 - $17.18 Per Hour
