About Pretium: Pretium is a leading full-service designer and manufacturer of rigid packaging solutions for specialized applications with small to mid-sized production volumes. Pretium has production locations across North America capable of producing plastic containers using PET, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and other resins.General Job Description:Performs multiple tasks as needed to assist production operations including maintaining required material supply levels, removal of finished product from the production floor, loading and unloading of trucks.Major Duties:Performs assigned duties and acts in a manner that adheres to Company safety policies and practices. Completes all tasks successfully with little to no supervision. Keep track of the warehouse stock, documenting orders and storing material; cartons and packing supplies, pallets, and shipping containers, resin and concentrates as required by the product, component supplies required for production. Stacks raw materials on the production floor neatly and safely in designated areas for easy access. Palletizes, tapes, bands, and or stretch wrapped boxes of finished product as required by packaging instructions.Minor Duties:Removes Palletized product from the production floor and places it in the designated areas. Returns unused labels to inventory upon completion of orders and records quantities. Accurately records all transaction and item movements. Maintains recycling areas for scrap, garbage, plastic, etc, Loads and unloads the truck for shipping and receiving materials. Assist maintenance when and if needed to move production items,Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50lbs unassistedAbility to stand for long periods at timesAbility to work during high and low temperatures, high noise levelsWillingness to comply with the company guidelines in reference to appropriate plant safety and housekeeping!
