TAMKO is seeking a Material Handler at our Rangeline facility to support warehouse and production operations by performing essential shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Operate various types of forklifts to move materials in and out of warehouses.
- Load finished fiberglass mat goods onto trailers and transport product as needed.
- Move raw materials, chemicals, and supplies from inbound shipments to storage or production areas.
- Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office for inventory tracking, shipping, receiving, and Kanban systems.
- Receive and ship materials electronically using SAP and external vendor systems.
- Unload resin from tankers to storage tanks when required.
- Conduct weekly inventory checks of raw materials.
- Serve as backup to the Warehouse Leader during absences.
- Operate the Glass Plant Rewinder when necessary.
- Assist with Glass Plant production activities as needed.
- Manage broken shipment processes and assist with dumpster oversight.
- Foster a team-oriented work environment and promote effective communication.
Education and Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong computer skills, including SAP shipping/receiving and Microsoft Office experience.
- Forklift operation experience is required.
- Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry in daily tasks.
